Hey Goobers!!

We just got some pretty sweet t-shirts in that we will be selling at the NYC Comic Con. Here's Andy looking rather dashing in these 3 sexy tees.

Yetti O'Connor, Sweet Chunks Logo, and the Brief Heroics Symbol!

So be sure to come to the NYCC, and be the first to get access to one (or three) of these beauties!

So running a comic site is a lot of work, and we hope you've enjoyed the daily comics we've served up this past year. For Year Two, however, we want to bring you even more time-wasting content! So don't forget to check this blog from time to time. We will be posting a lot more Random Chunks for you to sink your teeth into... like the upcoming NYC Comic Con that we will be at, and also awesome stuff like this video, poached from another blog... watch!

Hey Lovers and Haters,

I can't believe that next Tuesday will be the one year anniversary of Sweet Chunks! It seems like yesterday that we only had five viewers visit this site on a regular basis...oh wait, that was yesterday. We started off with updating once a week and now we are up to a generous five days. We will continue to have your weekdaily dose of entertainment, but things are going to be changing, friends.

We start off next week with something new...kinda. "Black and White" is changing days and names. Monday is the new day and "Hit and MIss" is the new name. It will continue with it's usual topical/non-topical/video game/non video game/...uh it's variety humor, except there well be more color (that is if the artist that week feels like adding color).

So, you're probably wondering about "Irritated Senses". Well, it's over! For good? Not sure.

Now as for Wednesdays. You may have seen banners on the site about buying a book called "Brief Heroics". Well on Wednesday, the 1st of September, we will start posting the next chapter in the "Brief Heroics" series, which means you may wanna buy a copy of the first book to understand what the crap is going on. You can buy in it's pdf/ebook format for only $1.49 or you can buy it paper back on Amazon and CreateSpace for $10.

And so there's no confusion, Narcolepsy Inc., Yetti O'Connor, and The Vampire Fad will be staying on their regular days.

Thanks to all for checking out our site, tell your friends, and we hope for many more years to come.

Smell ya later,

Dave

That's right! "Brief Heroics" Volume 1, the greatest comic you've never heard of, is now for sale at Cosmic Comics in Manhattan. Cosmic Comics is located on 23rd and Madison Ave. It's pretty exciting to have a book I wrote and illustrated to be on sale in the Windy Apple...the Big Windy?...uh, the Easy Apple?... well, New York City! This gives us one step closer to taking over the world!

Thank you to all that read our strips.

For those who don't understand Monday's comic here is a link to Snopes to explain it to you! When I first was told this story, I thought it was for real, but to my disappointment I found out it's an urban legend. With my imagination and lack of good eye sight, I could see myself making this mistake of someone came to my door.

Thanks a lot YouTube. I just loved this weeks B&W comic so much I just spent the last three hours watching every TMNT cartoon clip and vintage video game clip I could find.

There's an article about us in the Broken Arrow Ledger that you all should take a gander at!! (I think the article is time sensitive)
